I am a queer, Los Angeles based photographer who exists to create meaningful imagery for my clients.
If you had told teenage me that I was going to be a photographer, living in Los Angeles, CA, I would have laughed and told you about my plans to be a broadway actress. Boy, did the universe have a different plan for me.
My love for fine art photography began at home. My grandfather was a photographer in the 1950’s and 60’s and my grandmother was a model, and his muse. My mother is also deeply involved in the arts, she creates everything from mixed media to handcrafted jewelry. One could say being an artist is literally in my DNA. I was gifted disposable cameras during the holidays as a child, and that sparked a joy for sharing photography’s most important feature, perspective.
I began my journey as a professional photographer after two years of searching for a passion in community college. I was a political science major, then I was a communications major, and then I stepped into a darkroom and realized, I am a photographer. I studied everything from the history of photography to advanced lighting and editing techniques. I started freelancing at the end of my first semester and have now worked with brands, models, influencers, and local restaurants to create images that evoke the same kind of magic I felt the first time I stepped into a darkroom.
I shoot both digital and film formats depending my clients needs and vision for their images. I work collaboratively to meet my clients needs while also maintaining my personal photographic style.
